This is the silver version of our dual-blade peeler, and the pitch is simple: two edges on one seamless stainless body, plus a tip that digs potato eyes out. It is dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a rack slot rather than a chore, and the corrosion-resistant steel takes that treatment without staining. The non-slip handle works the same way in a left or a right hand.

Anatomy of the tool

Edge

Two blades, no waste

Pairing a serrated and a flat blade means the peel comes off in a thin ribbon on firm produce and in a controlled strip on slippery produce. Less flesh in the compost bin, more of it in the pan.

Care

Straight into the dishwasher

The one-piece stainless build is dishwasher safe and corrosion resistant, so it goes in the rack with everything else. No wooden parts, no glued joint, nothing on it that minds hot water and detergent.

In Use

Zest, garlic, hard cheese

Beyond root vegetables the blades take zest off an orange, strip sticky garlic skins and shave hard cheese. That range is the reason a dual-blade peeler tends to replace two single-purpose ones.

Storage

Flat profile, silver finish

The slim silver body lies flat in a drawer or hangs with the rest of the prep tools. It is durable enough that storing it loose among knives and tongs is not going to be a problem.

From the sharpening bench

Rinse the serrated edge right after peeling tomatoes or peaches; pulp dries between the teeth and dulls the grip that makes serrations worth having.
