MAD SHARK

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 8, 2026

This is a catalog site for kitchen cutlery. It needs almost nothing about you, and the policy below is short because the data practice is.

What Reaches Us

If you email the support desk, we receive your address and whatever you wrote — typically an order number and a photo of a knife. Purchases themselves happen at the checkout of a retail partner, so card numbers, delivery addresses and payment records never pass through this site at any point.

What the Site Counts

Aggregate page statistics: which guides get read, on what kind of screen, from roughly which region. It tells us whether the honing FAQ is doing its job. It is counting, not tracking — the numbers do not identify anyone.

What We Will Never Do

  • Sell, rent or trade anything about you — to anyone, at any price.
  • Build marketing profiles out of support conversations.
  • Keep your correspondence after it has stopped being useful for helping you.

Your Controls

One email to support@madshark.net gets you a copy of anything we hold about you, a correction to it, or its deletion — your choice, no form, no waiting period beyond the doing of it.

Safeguards, Stated Honestly

What little we hold sits behind current, maintained technical safeguards. We keep them patched and minimal, and we will not pretend any safeguard on the internet is absolute — which is one more reason we collect as close to nothing as a store can.
